Last Weekend in May

We got home from NC and two days later we headed down to Carmel area for the weekend with some of our married friends from Palo Alto. We stayed in this beautiful 15 million dollar house on 27 acres of private land over looking the ocean. It was surrounded by windows and beautiful views. The house had decks surrounding the back with the ocean view and a pool and hot tub towards the front. Friday night on the way up we stopped off at Dave's BBQ for dinner and took our timing getting there. We sat by a nice big fire and enjoyed the night together. 

Saturday morning we had a big breakfast with pancakes, egg scrambles with all the delicious fixins, sausage, bacon and of course OJ. Some of the guys including Rick headed to the beach for some surfing while others went hiking at Big Sur and some stayed behind enjoyed the fire, windows, views and a nice cozy overcast morning inside. Saturday evening we all made a big huge dinner with baked pototes, corn on the cob, fruit salad, lots of green salads and some delicious steak on the BBQ. In the afternoon some went swimming, sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoors. 

It was a fun relaxing weekend with friends. Thanks Molly for the invite and good luck in Colorado we will miss you!!!
