Weekend BlogLog - June 27th
We spent the weekend in Utah at the Bingham family camp out. My sister picked me up from the airport and I was able to spend the day with her before Rick flew in from his business trip. We spent some time in the fabric stores looking for boy fabric for our little guy's quilt. I didn't want the quilt to be one color and boring. I wanted it to be colorful, fun and different. Well, different and colorful it is, but so far no one likes the fabrics I spent hours choosing. The colors are; green, blue, red, orange, yellow and black. No one seems to think the materials match, but once it becomes one piece then of course it will match right?

On Friday morning we drove to our campsite in Diamond Fork Canyon with Caitlyn and David. It was green and beautiful. The whole Bingham family was there except Jessica, Jeff and their kids.
Of course I didn't do much over the weekend but sit around, grow bigger and take walks to the bathroom. Rick on the other hand, kept pretty busy shooting Beebe guns, fishing, digging for worms, hiking, playing in the waterfalls and hot springs and trying to catch butterflies with all the nieces and nephews. He is definitely adored by those kids. They can't seem to escape his side. He is going to be the best daddy!
Our first day there we had some thunder storms and rain but we managed to keep somewhat dry and still enjoyed ourselves. The rest of the weekend was sunny and hot. We had tons of delicious food; kebobs, bbq ribs, big breakfasts and tons of my favorite snacks. It doesn't get much better than camping in a beautiful spot with family and delicious foods!
Here I am at 17 weeks. Pretty big for such a long time left!

Oh you're looking so cute! I love when the actual bump comes so everyone just knows your pregnant not just gaining lbs. I'm bummed we didn't get to see you on this visit, but maybe next time.
Diamond fork is one of my favorite places to camp. Went there every year while living in Utah. Gotta love the hot water then run under the water fall to cool off.
wait a couple more months and you'll wonder how you ever thought this was big! lol
I am sure your quilt will be beautiful!
