Things to be Thankful for
Here are some pictures of our little sugar plum at a week and a half.

This is his cousin Alyssa who is 7 months older than him.
Some things I am thankful for at a week and a half:
- I can hold my little sugar plum in my arms rather than carrying him in my stomach.
- The pushing is over and the pain of the first week is done.
- I can fit back into my regular clothes again and I have a variety of jeans to choose from each day.
- When I hug my cute husband I can feel his body pressed against mine.
- I can sleep comfortably on my stomach and back.
- I only have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night 3 or 4 times rather than 7,8 or 9 times.
- I get up early in the morning to feed my little man rather than go to work.
- My little guy doesn't cry and puts himself to sleep.
- I have a son!
- Simple things that make life easier, like - a donut to sit on the first week, swaddle me blanket, changing table, glider, itzbeen, my angel me monitor.
There are many things to be thankful for in life, especially at this time of year. Most of all, I am thankful for my new little family and the joy of finally being a mom!
