Crazy Busy month
April has been crazy busy. A few weeks back - Sunday night I cleaned the house and made dinner for my relatives who came over. I made chicken enchiladas, salad and asparagus. We had a delicious sponge cake with fruit and whipping cream for dessert. It was delicious.

After they left I cleaned up for Monday nights activities. The girls came over (like they do every Monday night to cook dinner). We made simple grilled cheese sandwiches while we dyed easter eggs. This was the girls first time dying eggs. Once Rick got home he picked the best looking egg and we taught the girls how to make deviled eggs.
Tuesday night I cooked and cleaned because I hosted the book club at my house this month. We read the book called The Egypt Game, an award winning children's book.
Wednesday night I didn't have to cooked and cleaned but I did have to shop, set up and pick up 4 girls for mutual. We dyed easter eggs with the YW for our activity. Danny won for having the best looking easter egg. She won a chocolate bunny.
Thursday night was my only free night. However, Rick worked late so I didn't even get to spend time with him. I couldn't go to bed early because I had to pick him up at the bart station at 11:00pm.
Friday I spent the morning cleaning and running arrands. In the afternoon, I picked up 4 YW and my friend Angel and we headed to Livermore for a girls night slumber party. We stayed at my parents house just to get away from Oakland. We made homemade pizza for dinner, ate lots of junk food, candy, popcorn and ice cream, played tons of games, went in the hot tub and watched a movie on the big screen TV. In the morning we made French toast for breakfast. It was delicious. We then rode around the backyard on the quads. The girls had never been on a quad before. Then we headed home.
All that in one week. I'm exhausted, I must be getting old.

Wow, I'm worn out just READING about it! It's really great how much time and care you dedicate to your YW girls. I'm sure it means a lot to them!
Seriously, what lucky YW to have such a leader. Good job my friend.
Wow...you're amazing!!!
