Easter

We had our traditional Easter weekend with Saturday at my mom's house in Livermore and my dad's house in San Jose on Sunday. We played in the backyard, on the trampoline, riding the quad and digging in the dirt with cousins Alyssa and Blake.
 Athen riding the little quad.
Athen riding the big quad with Uncle Josh.
The kids hunting for their Easter eggs.

Crew showing off his goods. He had blue drool dripping down his face. He was in Heaven. After this one Easter egg full of candy we put the treats up. My kids get way too wired when they eat sweet things. Athen doesn't mind putting the treats up but Crew does. He has a big sweet tooth.

At my dad's house dying our Easter eggs.

The first things the boys like to do at Grandpa's is get the big dump trucks out and fill them up with rocks.

Last year Rick tried a new recipe, Jerk Chicken. It was so delicious that he decided to do it again this year. Here he is at the grill.
We had lots of yummy food for our BBQ. We usually always do a BBQ instead of the traditional Easter meal - ham, which is what we do at my mom's house.
We always have the Easter egg hunt in the front yard because of the pool in the backyard. Athen had his first accident in the cold pool on his very first Easter. We decided to let them use their dump trucks as Easter baskets. It's more fun that way.

Our quick attempt to get a family picture on Easter.
 Searching for eggs.
We had a great Easter. I hope your was well too.
